Homosexuality and the Eternal Soul
About Born of Love
Nothing About You Is a Mistake
Most of us were taught, directly or indirectly, that love has rules, that God has preferences, and that our hearts are supposed to obey whatever script was written long before we got here. These ideas are passed down like family heirlooms—wrapped in fear, tradition, and “this is just how it is.” For a while, many people accept that. They’re afraid not to.
I don’t believe that anymore. I can’t. I’ve listened to too many souls, too many stories, and too much pain that never should have existed in the first place.
If you’re reading this, I want you to hear me clearly:
There is nothing wrong with you.
There has never been anything wrong with you.
And there will never be anything wrong with you.
Not your love. Not your attraction. Not your identity. Not the way your spirit recognizes someone long before your mind does. Who you are is not a glitch, a phase, or a spiritual problem. Who you are is part of a design—your design—which existed long before your family, your culture, or your religion had anything to say about it.
This book was born from a simple, inconvenient truth:

A spiritual, no-nonsense look at why the soul chooses a queer experience—and why you were never a mistake.
For generations, homosexuality has been shamed, debated, and feared. This book doesn’t argue about your existence, it explains it. From a soul-contract perspective, Born of Love reveals that your sexuality is not random, broken, or secondary. It is part of your soul’s design for evolution, liberation, and truth.
What This Book Is — and What It Isn’t
This is not a debate book. I’m not here to argue scripture or convince anyone who’s already married to their fear. This is not a theological war. This is something much older and deeper than that.
This is a remembering.
It’s for anyone who has ever sat in silence with questions they were too scared to voice:
“Why am I like this?”
“Why couldn’t I just be ‘normal’?”
“What does God think of me?”
“Am I going to lose my family if I live my truth?”
“Did I disappoint God somehow?”
I’m not going to preach.
I’m not going to sugar-coat anything. I’m going to tell you what I have learned after decades of studying human and spiritual psychology, counseling people from every walk of life, and listening to their actual stories, not their labels.

WHO THIS BOOK IS FOR
This Book Is For You If…
You’ve been told your sexuality is a sin, a phase, or a “struggle” to overcome.
You love God/Spirit, but religion left you traumatized, confused, or exiled.
You’re queer or questioning and secretly wonder, “Did my soul get this wrong?”
You are a parent, pastor, therapist, or friend trying to understand LGBTQ+ souls from a spiritual lens—without the dogma.
You feel called to heal shame around identity and step into your purpose unapologetically.
If any of this hits your spirit, this book was written with you in mind.
WHAT THIS BOOK REVEALS
Key Points:
The Soul’s Choice: Why your soul may choose a same-sex orientation before birth—on purpose, not by accident.
Beyond Labels: The difference between sexual orientation and soul orientation, and why Spirit doesn’t think in categories.
The Role of Shame & Rejection: How painful experiences around identity can be part of the soul’s curriculum for power, compassion, and clarity.
Queer as Catalyst: How LGBTQ+ souls act as cycle breakers, exposing fear-based systems and forcing humanity to evolve its understanding of love.
Sacred Partnerships: The spiritual purpose of same-sex love, relationships, and marriage as tools for healing and expansion.
Religion vs. Reality: Why so many doctrines got it wrong—and how to separate human fear from Divine truth.
This isn’t another self-help book telling you to “accept yourself” without explaining why you’re here in the first place. Born of Love goes deeper—into the soul’s pre-incarnation agreements, karmic patterns, and the spiritual purpose behind a queer life path.
Why We Need This Conversation Now
We live in a world where information is everywhere but wisdom is rare. Everyone has something to say, but very few people are actually helping anyone heal. Religion talks endlessly about love, then turns around and weaponizes it. Science studies hormones and brain structures yet still can’t touch the reality of spirit. Politics argues over rights and policies while real people are sitting in bedrooms, crying into pillows, wishing they could just exist without being treated like a problem.
We don’t need more noise. We need a different conversation. A soul-level conversation.
Because this isn’t just about labels or laws. This isn’t just about who you’re allowed to marry, or what bathroom someone uses, or which box you check on a form. This is about identity at the level of spirit—the part of you that came here with intention, with memory, and with purpose.
When identity is understood at the soul level, everything begins to shift:
Shame starts to lose its grip.
Fear starts to look more like inherited programming than “God’s truth.”
The idea that you’re some kind of mistake starts to fall apart.
The question “Why am I like this?” changes into “Why was I chosen for this?”
After Reading This Book, You’ll Walk Away With…
A clear, spiritually grounded understanding of why your sexuality is not a cosmic glitch.
Language to finally explain your experience—to yourself, to loved ones, and even to people trapped in fear-based beliefs.
Relief from the belief that you’re disappointing God, Spirit, or your ancestors by being who you are.
A deeper awareness of your soul contract and the bigger purpose behind your pain, relationships, and identity.
Practical reflections and questions to help you integrate this truth into your daily life.
WHAT READERS WILL WALK AWAY WITH
If You Only Take One Thing From This Book
If you close this book after this introduction and never read another page, I want you to walk away with this:
Your soul came here to be exactly what it is — not what other people are comfortable with.
The point of life is not to be liked. It’s to be authentic.
The point of incarnation is not to fit in. It’s to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
You may not have words for it yet. You may still be afraid. You may still be holding onto beliefs that hurt you. That’s okay. We’re going to walk through this gently but honestly.
This book is not here to tell you what to think. It’s here to help you remember what your soul already knows.text here...
What We’ll Explore Together
The genderless nature of the soul and why spirit doesn’t come in “male” or “female.”
Soul contracts and pre-life planning—how and why we choose certain themes, bodies, and experiences.
Why religion got this so wrong, and how fear, control, and politics distorted spiritual truth.
Karma, shame, and sacred rebellion—why being the “outsider” is often part of your soul’s assignment.
Transgender identity and energetic alignment—what it really means to feel like your inner truth and outer form don’t match.
Families, lineage, and the queer healer—how LGBTQIA souls often come to break generational patterns of fear and silence.
Past-life connections, soulmates, and twin flames, including same-sex soul bonds.
The evolution of human consciousness and why queer souls are essential to our collective awakening.
By the time you reach the end, you may not agree with every single thing I say. That’s fine. I’m not interested in creating another belief system. What I care about is that something inside you feels seen, validated, and remembered in a way that goes beyond human assumption, and opinion.
A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR
About Lena Crespo
Lena Crespo is a Certified Mindset Transformation & Empowerment Coach who has spent more than 25 years immersed in human and spiritual psychology. She specializes in soul contracts, reincarnation, and the spiritual architecture behind our most painful and powerful life experiences. Her work helps people move from confusion and shame into clarity, ownership, and authentic purpose.
For over 25 years, I’ve studied human and spiritual psychology, sat with people in their deepest shame, and listened to the questions they were afraid to say out loud.
“If God made me, why am I like this?”
“Did my soul mess up?”
“Is my love an abomination or an assignment?”
She wrote Born of Love because the answer is simple and radical:
You are not a problem God is trying to fix. You are a design your soul chose for a reason.
This book is my offering to every soul who has ever felt caught between who they are and what they were taught to be. I’m not here to debate your existence—I’m here to help you understand it from the soul’s vantage point.
